Interactive Case Review

Golden Bell is a TV quiz show for high school students in Korea. KSUM Open 2017 borrows the format of this popular TV program for the Interactive Case Review session.
A total of 60 Gold Bell participants will be asked to choose a correct diagnosis for different cases from a series of 30 multiple choice questions.
Those giving a wrong answer will be eliminated as the quiz goes on until only one participant remains. If the last participant can go up to and solve the final 30th question, he or she will enter the Hall of Fame. All participants of the quiz will be given a small gift, and the three finalists will be awarded with a prize.
Those invited to take part in the Golden Bell quiz will be notified individually after the registration is closed.
KSUM Open 2017 participants who do not register for the Interactive Case Review are welcome to participate in the quiz as a member of the audience.
A special prize will be offered to the audience member who gets the highest number of correct answers.

Hands-on Session

The Organizing Committee has revamped the Hands-on Session with a wider range of scientific topics to make it more instructive and interesting for all the participants. Each session will be assigned to three participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and each participant may choose up to two topics.
